Massage Services

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Manual lymphatic drainage massage is a specialised massage technique that uses light, rhythmic strokes, following your lymph vessels through to your lymph nodes to encourage the movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. It aims to stimulate the lymphatic system to remove toxins, reduce fluid retention, and support the immune system. It also feels amasing!

Kate is trained is manual lymphatic drainage, she follows a structured, considered process based on the Casley-Smith method targetting the areas of your body that need support. It is much more than a light massage and you can experience real health benefits.

Kate will explain the process and the sequence before you begin so you know what to expect and can relax into the experience.

Pre  & Post-Surgery Recovery Massage

A low pressure therapeutic massage, incorporating lymphatic drainage, that helps you prepare for surgery as well as support your body's recovery process. The massage stimulates the lymphatic system and help to settle your nervous system. It may help reduce swelling, bruising, and pain by encouraging the flow of excess fluid and toxins from the surgical area. This service may be conducted in facility.

In-Facility Massage

Massage for the elderly, also known as geriatric massage, is

a specialized, gentle form of massage therapy adapted for the unique needs of older adults, using lighter pressure and slower, customized techniques to promote circulation, ease muscle stiffness, reduce joint discomfort, and improve mobility. This approach is often gentler than general massage and considers factors like reduced muscle tone, sensitive skin, and fragile bones.

Gentle Scar Tissue Release

Scar tissue release massage is a therapeutic technique that involves gentle manipulation of the skin and underlying tissue to break down adhesions, soften hard scars, improve pliability, and restore mobility. It may help to remodel scar tissue, reduce pain, and desensitize the area, which can improve both the appearance and function of the scar.

This treatment can be started once the wound is completely healed and requires multiple sessions to achieve results.

Peripheral Neuropathy Massage

The aim of neuropathy massage is to support  blood flow, which is crucial for delivering oxygen and nutrients to damaged nerves.

Regular foot massage can help ease the burning, tingling, and aching sensations associated with neuropathy. The calming effects of massage can help reduce stress and anxiety, which may exacerbate neuropathic symptoms.
